14 New COVID-19 Deaths; NH DHHS To Treat It Like Other Infectious Diseases

Coos, Grafton, Sullivan and Cheshire counties all show low community levels of COVID-19 while the other six show medium community levels. Time Period: COVID-19 Community Levels were calculated on Thu Jan 19 2023. New COVID-19 cases per 100,000 population (weekly total) are calculated using data from Thu Jan 12 2023 - Wed Jan 18 2023. New COVID-19 admissions per 100,000 population (7-day total) and Percent of inpatient beds occupied by COVID-19 patients (7-day average) are calculated using data from Wed Jan 11 2023 - Tue Jan 17 2023.

For the previous week, DHHS announced 14 additional deaths related to COVID-19. We offer our sympathies to the family and friends.

Please note, because COVID-19 has become endemic, the State continues the transition to manage it as with as other infectious diseases such as influenza. Part of this effort includes transitioning to weekly updates of the COVID-19 dashboards. Effective today, Thursday, January 26, 2023, the COVID-19 Dashboards will be updated weekly. The transition is consistent with the previous transition to weekly COVID-19 updates in May 2022.

The weekly update to the COVID-19 Dashboards will occur each Thursday, following the release of the COVID-19 Weekly Updates. Upon the release of this week’s COVID-19 Weekly Update and update to the Dashboards, the next update to the COVID-19 Dashboards will occur on Thursday, February 2, then every subsequent Thursday.

NH DHHS Weekly COVID-19 Update – Week of January 26, 2023

On Thursday, January 26, 2023, the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) announced 931 new positive COVID-19 test results between Thursday, January 19 and Wednesday, January 25.

For the previous week, DHHS announce 14 additional deaths related to COVID-19. We offer our sympathies to the family and friends.

There are currently 32 hospitalized patients being treated for COVID-19. In New Hampshire, since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 372,918 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed.
