Burlington: Suspect robbed gas station at gunpoint, police say
Burlington police officers are looking for a robbery suspect.
On Tuesday, around 10:20 p.m., officers responded to a gas station on the 700 block of North Church Street, near Fulton Street, in reference to an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with witnesses who said a male entered the business, showed a firearm and demanded money from the cashier.
The suspect is described as a man who stands 6’0” tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a camouflage ski mask, green short sleeve shirt with black flannel long sleeve underneath, and dark pants with a red or orange stripe.
"The Burlington Police Department is actively seeking anyone with information regarding this investigation or any other related investigation. We ask you to call the Burlington Police Department at (336) 229-3500," a news release said.
