Dave Matthews Band performs on Midnight Sun Stage during the second day of the Pilgrimage Music & Cultural Festival at the Park in Harlinsdale in Franklin, Tenn., Sunday, Sept. 26, 2021.

Dave Matthews Band is back in action with their first album in five years, and their just-announced arena tour is making Nashville one of its first stops.

The band returns to Bridgestone Arena on May 26 — one week after the release of their tenth studio album, "Walk Around the Moon," which arrives on the 19th.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17. A presale is open through Jan. 31 for members of the band's fan club, "The Warehouse."

This will be the group's first concert in Music City proper since 2019, but they also headlined the 2021 Pilgrimage Festival just down the road in Franklin. DMB's ranks include saxophonist Jeff Coffin, who's called Nashville home for more than 30 years.

On Tuesday, the band released the first single from the new album, entitled "Madman's Eyes." A press release says the album "took shape during the pandemic and is as much a reflection on the current times as it is an urge to find common ground."
