Maxar Books $192M Contract to Support NGA’s Foreign Commercial Imagery Program; Tony Frazier Quoted

Maxar Technologies (NYSE: MAXR) will provide satellite imagery products and services to U.S. allies under a five-year, $192 million contract from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

The indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract is intended to support NGA’s Foreign Commercial Imagery Program covering synthetic aperture radar, 3D and high-resolution electro-optical data, the company said Wednesday.

Tony Frazier, executive vice president and general manager of public sector Earth intelligence at Maxar, said the company has been sharing actionable geospatial intelligence with U.S. partners for more than 20 years.

“Maxar’s high-resolution 2D and 3D imagery and data products are integral for high-confidence mapping, planning and operational support, helping end users make faster, better decisions and saving lives, resources and time,” added Frazier, a 2023 Wash100 awardee.

The company intends to use its SecureWatch analytics application and Precision3D data modeling suite to support the program.
