Podcast Explores Local Real Estate Market For 2023

The latest installment of the Your Local Homebuying Compass podcast looks at the suburban residential real estate market. The series, hosted by Realtor David Schwabe of The Schwabe Group Compass Real Estate is going on its second year of production.

The most recent episode focuses on the suburban market for buyers and sellers. The discussion will highlight some of the specific metrics for the national market from 2022 along with the details of what took place locally. Schwabe will then walk listeners through what to expect in the year ahead.

"While certain national trends are good barometers, the local communities like Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, and Palatine have their own characteristics that make them a bit unique," Schwabe said. "Although home prices have remained strong, inventory has been very tight, so we'll walk through some key strategies for both buyers and sellers."

Schwabe has more than 20 years' experience in the local real estate market. The Schwabe Group includes more than a dozen agents. The podcast series provides information on all aspects of the real estate market. Recent episodes have focused on home inspections, buying a home that needs work, and staging. "There are so many factors that go into a successful real estate transaction," Schwabe said. "We use the podcast as a way of sharing information and providing something extra to our clients and prospects. Not everyone is in the market right now, but we think it is good to keep people informed for when the time comes to enter the market."
