A line of powerful thunderstorms packing high winds tore through Arkansas and Texas Saturday morning, taking down trees, power lines and several structures.
Images posted to social media show damage to structures in Caddo Gap, Arkansas. In Swifton, power lines were damaged as a storm moved through the area.
Damage was also reported in Scott, Arkansas, southeast of Little Rock. A woman and her granddaughter were not at home when the tornado ripped through the community and destroyed their mobile home, KARK-TV reported. When they returned, it took them some time before they found their unharmed dog.
Two minor injuries were also reported in the area, KARK also reported.

Multiple radar-indicated spin-ups were reported but only one was video-confirmed by the National Weather Service west of Keo, in Prairie County, Arkansas. There have been no reports thus far of damage there.
Another confirmed EF1 twister was captured south of Carlisle.
Jeff Daniels, who captured video of the Carlisle tornado, told weather.com the twister caused damage at his aunt and uncle's home, but no one was injured. He noted that he was within an eighth of a mile when he captured the video.
A semitrailer appeared to have been blown off Interstate 40 near Monroe.
Damage was also reported early Saturday in Mesquite, a suburb of Dallas, in an areas near the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church, from 70 to 80 mph straight-line winds, according to the National Weather Service. There were no reports of injuries.
Possible tornadoes caused damage early Saturday in both Hosston and Carterville, Louisiana. And in Mississippi, a possible tornado damaged a commercial building and an apartment complex in the town of Walnut. No injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, a massive tree fell on a home in Raleigh, a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee, causing significant damage.

The storms knocked out power to at least 14,000 customers in Arkansas by Saturday afternoon, according to poweroutage.us.
