Prom can be a fun memory that people treasure forever. But the prep for prom is a lot of pressure. Who you go with (friends? date?) and how you get there (limo? parents’ car?), can be mentally, emotionally, and financially taxing. That stress is doubly true if you have to find a prom dress.

High school can be hard enough for kids who feel like they don't fit in, so having one of the most momentous nights of your high school years revolve around finding a dress that fits can be downright brutal.

Thankfully, there's a dress shop in Charlotte, North Carolina that's offering not just a range of sizes, but expert advice and kind, compassionate support. Juicy Body Goddess, a dress shop in the Northlake Mall in Charlotte, NC owned by Summer Lucille, describes themselves as a "Curvy & Plus Size Boutique" that offers sizes ranging from "XL-6X".

The shop has gone viral on TikTok several times for its well-edited fitting videos, showing the store's customers finding their perfect dress, and coming away feeling special. These feel-good fitting videos have earned a total of 44.5 million likes to date, and 1.3 million followers. But their latest viral video has people buzzing for its extremely touching ending.

The video shows 18-year-old Elyse Monroe at the shop seeking a dress for prom. According to Entrepreneur, the high school senior actually had to travel six hours just to get a dress at this particular boutique, and shop owner Lucille clearly took the time to make sure they got what they came for. After a few options are explored, Monroe was wowed by a purple gown that would normally cost $700.

We say normally, because Lucille decided that this customer who'd travelled so far should be sent back home in style, gratis.

"So, this dress is $700..." Lucille can be heard saying in the video, "...but it's free." After a moment 0f disbelief, Monroe and her family can be seen being overwhelmed by emotion at the gift. Lucille herself later became overwhelmed as well, captioning her now-viral TikTok, "I didn't cry until I did the edit." And, let's face it, we're all a little misty-eyed too.
