SAGINAW, MI — Looking for another reason to declutter and free up some space in your closet? The Neighb, a charitable organization based in Saginaw, is hosting a Prom Dress Drive and is accepting donations of new and used formalwear.
Community members are encouraged to bring new and used formal dresses and shoes to The Neighb, 3145 Russell St. in Saginaw, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 1. Donations can also be dropped off at Jazzy Shoe Boutique, 203 S. Washington Ave., inside the SVRC Marketplace, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday now through April 1, and at Extreme Dance Arts, 220 N. Hamilton St., from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 27, through Wednesday, March 29.
“Help local young ladies go to prom. Donate a formal dress to give a deserving local high school student an opportunity to join their friends at a memorable high school event,” reads an event flyer posted on The Neighb’s Facebook page.
