Tommy Guyton, 82, of Pacolet, SC, died Sunday, March 5, 2023 at his home. Born April 9, 1940 in Pacolet, SC, he was the son of the late William Jake and Bernice Guyton Pace, and the husband of the late Cornelia “Nanny” Brown Guyton.
Tommy was retired from Kohler Co. as a Molding Engineer, after serving over 33 years. He was a member of Brown’s Chapel Baptist Church of Pacolet Mills, where he served as a former Deacon. He loved his Lord, wife, and family. A great man who took care of his family; Tommy made wonderful hash and BBQ and was an active fisherman.
Survivors include his two sons, Jody Guyton (Judy) of Gaffney, SC and Tommy Douglas Guyton of Cochran, GA (late wife, Katherine); four grandchildren, Amanda Guyton, Blake Guyton (Erin), Nikki Kuhn (Kyle) and Cody Guyton (Harli); eight great grandchildren; and his sister, Ada Towery of Enoree, SC.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Floyd’s Pacolet Chapel, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372, conducted by Pastor Chip Coleman. Burial will follow in Pacolet Memorial Gardens, 141 Memorial Drive, Pacolet, SC 29372.
