JOSIE, THANK YOU. INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY AFTER PALM BEACH COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPUTY CRUISER WAS INVOLVED IN A CRASH WITH THE SCOOTER. THIS HAPPENED JUST BEFORE 8:00 THIS MORNING NEAR POLO GARDENS DRIVE IN SOUTH SHORE BOULEVARD IN WELLINGTON. A STUDENT WAS RIDING THE SCOOTER AT THE TIME AND WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL AND IS EXPECTED TO BE OKAY. THE CAUSE OF THE CRASH IS STILL UNKNOWN. ALSO NEW HERE AT NOON, DEPUTIES ARE LOOKING FOR THE DRIVER WHO HIT A PERSON ON A BICYCLE IN SAINT LUCIE COUNTY. WE’RE TOLD IT HAPPENED FRIDAY NIGHT ON A1A, NORTH OF PEPPER LANE.
