Music from nine countries on four continents is being featured Thursday through Sunday at Fayetteville State University’s International Music Festival.

Performances, presentations and dances are scheduled to take place on campus and at venues in downtown Fayetteville. Festival tickets are $15 for individual shows at Seabrook Auditorium, or a $20 ticket provides admission to all the shows through Sunday. (Fayetteville State students have free admission with their student IDs.)

“This is the first event of its kind that we are presenting at FSU, and we are excited with what we have been able to organize,” said Amanda Virelles, the interim chair of the Department of Performing and Fine Arts at Fayetteville State. It’s underwritten by a $13,500 Inclusive Outreach grant from the Arts Council of Fayetteville|Cumberland County.
