Married At First Sight couple Layton Mills and Melinda Willis have proved their love has lasted outside of the experiment.

The couple enjoyed a romantic date at Scenic World in the Blue Mountains, NSW, and took a selfie with an employee.

The photo was shared to Scenic World's official Facebook page on Thursday.

'Great to have Married At First Sight Australia couple Melinda and Layton drop by and spend time together with our amazing Blue Mountains as a backdrop!' the post was captioned.

It also mentioned that the team member from the photo was 'excited by the couple’s impromptu visit'.

'I jokingly said to them that they spoiled it for me to see them together all loved up!' she recalled.

'They were very friendly and said how much they enjoyed visiting Scenic World for a date!'

The trip proves Melinda and Layton have continued their romance long after MAFS filming wrapped last year.

The loved-up couple were snapped in December enjoying a double date with fellow participants Ollie Skelton and Tahnee Cook - attending the Van Gogh Alive exhibition in Sydney.

Melinda, 32, and Layton, 35, sat close together as they gazed at Vincent Van Gogh's masterpieces that were projected onto screens 

After agreeing to stay together at the final vows, Daily Mail Australia understands both couples remain intact to this day.

Tahnee and Ollie and Melinda and Layton are the only two MAFS couples to continue their relationship outside of the experiment.

Melinda and Layton confirmed they also remain a couple after agreeing to give their relationship a go at the final vows.
