Southwest Airlines Co. is bringing back flights from Baltimore to Oakland, California, for the first time in almost three years.The daily service between Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport and Oakland International Airport, which stopped in December 2020, will begin again starting on Sept. 5.The return of the route was part of Southwest's announcement of its fall schedule through Oct. 4.The largest carrier at BWI-Marshall will use its Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on the route, which fits 175 passengers, according to a news release.Read the full story from our partners at the Baltimore Business Journal
