Dublin St. Patrick's Day Celebration Starts Saturday

Dublin's 39th famed St. Patrick's Day extravaganza is scheduled for March 18-19.

DUBLIN, CA — Dublin is again ready to live up to its name and host its famous St. Patrick’s Day weekend of celebrations.

The 39th St. Patrick’s Day celebration will take place on Saturday, March 18 and Sunday, March 19. As usual, the two-day celebration will feature a parade, and every sort of Irish-themed celebration. Over 80,000 visitors are expected to attend.

The centerpiece of the celebration will be the 39th St. Patrick’s Day Parade along Dublin Boulevard and Amador Plaza Road on Saturday, hosted by the Dublin Lions Club.

But there will also be a number of other events:

  • The Shamrock 5K Fun Run & Walk. Register by clicking the link.
  • Alameda County Local 55 Pancake Breakfast. For $5, enjoy green pancakes and support local firefighters.
  • Over 200 booths offering Irish food, Irish drink, the Irish Tea Cottage, a full Irish Marketplace of Celtic art, jewelry and clothing, and so much more. Click here to apply for a booth.
  • Carnival rides each day from 10-5.
  • Irish music and dance performing on two stages both days.
