ODESSA, FL — A 37-year-old Port Richey motorcyclist was killed early Friday morning when he lost control on a curve and was thrown from the motorcycle.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, at 3:05 a.m., the motorcyclist was heading north on Old Dixie Highway south of Race Track Road when he crossed the southbound lane, drove onto the shoulder of the road and crashed.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
