Julianna M. Cicero

Julianna M. (Custer) Cicero, age 90, of Erie passed away at home on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. She was born in Erie on April 29, 1932, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Mikula) Custer.

Julianna was a graduate of St. Benedict Academy. She worked in the cafeterias at Erie Day School and later at St. Peter’s grade school. Julianna enjoyed cooking, baking, knitting and helping her niece with estate sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Cicero.

She is survived by her children, Christine Cicero of Erie, Joseph Cicero of Erie and John Cicero, wife Kym of Virginia; grandchildren, Joseph, Jacob and Joshua Cicero; a brother Gerard Custer, wife Susan of Florida and several nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Saturday from 10 am until the time of a funeral mass at 11 am at St. Patrick Church, 130 East 4th Street. Burial will be private in Calvary Cemetery. Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
