First there were the chicken sandwich wars, now KFC is kicking off the “nugget wars” with the launch of its new Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets on menus nationwide later this month, according to Louisville Business First.After a “wildly successful” test launch last year, the Louisville-based fried chicken chain is bringing nuggets to participating restaurants starting March 27, according to a news release.The nuggets, made with 110% white meat and hand-breaded with KFC’s Original Recipe of 11 herbs and spices, start at $3.49 and will be available in 5-, 8-, 12- or 36-piece.The addition of nuggets to the menu comes after KFC recently launched Kentucky Fried Chicken Wraps, and announced the return of the Double Down.Read more about KFC's new addition and another popular item it is bringing back at Louisville Business First.
