I got the wrong Instacart order delivered to me — it was for a stranger

It was a happy accident.

After Instacart delivered the wrong grocery order to her, this TikToker decided to make the best out of it by making a haul of all the items, deeming it “so fun.”

Olivia Pascale, who goes by the username @oliviapwong on the social media app, has already reached 2.6 million views on the video.

In the beginning of the two-minute clip, she explained that she had reached out to Instacart to open a claim about the incident, but they told her to keep it or donate it.

“I figured it would be fun to see what a complete stranger got as, like, an entire grocery order,” Pascale explained, as she began to dig in to the grocery bags from Sprouts, a supermarket chain.

In an email to The Post on Tuesday, Pascale revealed that her original order was supposed to contain three beef sticks, two peppers, mac & cheese, rice, PB cups, napkins, toilet paper, and trash bags.

“I had peeped some solid items so I had a feeling it was going to be a good order, and as a content creator I thought it could be fun to get my real reaction on camera,” Pascale explained to The Post.

The first item she pulled out was a cream — but not the kind for your coffee.

“Ditch the itch cream,” she announced as she pulled the box out of the grocery bag. “Okay, love that.”

The next grocery item she found was a loaf of 21 Whole Grains and Seeds bread from the brand Dave’s Killer Bread, which she admitted she actually does buy, followed by a bar of milk chocolate.

“Wait, this is so fun,” Pascale admitted as she kept going with the order.

She then pulled out a bottle of blood orange Italian soda and a bottle of Natalie’s orange juice.

“Natalie’s orange juice?!” she exclaimed. “This thing is like, $10. I feel like I just hit the jackpot.

The remaining items included a bag of tomatoes, asparagus, a box of blueberries, blackberries, ginger ale, frozen chicken potstickers, unsweetened almond milk, a carton of eggs, grass-fed angus beef, free-range orange chicken, regular chicken, and, last but not least, some sock-eye salmon.

Pascale admitted that she would have wanted sweetened almond milk instead of the unsweetened one that came in the order. TikTok/@oliviapwong

She noted that she would have “preferred” sweetened almond milk, but “beggars can’t be choosers,” the TikToker admitted.

“I’m so sorry for the person who didn’t get their order, but this is fire, thank you for a good grocery haul,” she concluded at the end of the video.

In the comments section of the video, viewers made guesses about the mystery person who had originally ordered the food.

“The way I IMMEDIATELY knew this order was from a woman in her 20s living on her own,” one viewer wrote. “Girl is living her best life.”

Another agreed, “This order was made by a woman living alone and I mean that in the best way possible.”

“This was a gym girls order 😂😂,” someone else teased.

Others joked about the fact that their orders looked totally diffrerent.

“This person has their life together,” one TikToker commented. “You unboxing my order would be like: pop tarts, sun chips, uncrustables, chicken, cauliflower, cookie dough.”

An alleged Instacart shopper even weighed in, typing, “As a shopper it’s so fun to figure out who these people are that I’m shopping for hahaha i always can tell when someone’s on their period or sick, etc.”

However, despite the wrong order, Pascale is still a big fan of Instacart.

“I absolutely love Instacart and have been a loyal customer for quite some time!” she wrote to The Post. “As a full time content creator, influencer, podcast co-host, and entrepreneur, it is RARE that I ever find time to physically go food shopping.”
