When we first received it, we let it charge overnight per the instructions and then pressed play on the remote. The robot bounced across the room, vacuuming in a seemingly random pattern. It got stuck once on a doormat, but other than that, it didn’t require manual intervention from us.

Once the vacuum had made its way to all the rooms, we emptied the dustbin and inserted the filled water tank. We also installed the mop pad and bracket and then pressed play. Again, the robot bounced around, mopping the floors. We were worried that the floors would be streaky due to the zig-zagging pattern of the mop, but our hardwoods dried clean and without streaks.

We regularly returned to the 50-minute mode, allowing the robot to scrub around our first floor for 50 minutes before powering off.

The Everybot Edge2 had no problem lifting regular dirt buildup, but there were a couple of occasions where it left minor streaks behind. To test the mop’s cleaning power on tough messes, we dried pasta sauce and apple juice on our hardwoods and then set the mop on focus mode so it would concentrate on the dirty area. It took a few passes, but Edge2 removed the mess without our intervention.

Hooking the Yeedi up to Wi-Fi was simple. We followed the prompts on the app and had it connected within a few minutes. After charging the robot, we filled the onboard water tank, attached the mop pad, and put it to work. As with all other models, we scattered flour, cookie crumbs, and chocolate chips on the floor to test the vacuum. The Yeedi cube picked up all the debris, leaving our floors spotless. It works via an included remote control but is also Wi-Fi compatible and can be operated through its companion app. On auto mode, it vacuums and mops in a random pattern for 90 minutes and then returns to its base. It also has four other modes, including edge, focus, zigzag cleaning, and a manual mode that lets users control the robot’s direction via the remote.

The MAMNV has an onboard water tank that we filled after charging it overnight. The user manual instructed us to wet the mop pad before mopping, so we ran it underwater, squeezed out the excess moisture, and then attached it. We used the included remote and hit play, allowing the MAMNV to clean our house on auto mode for 90 minutes.

It did a great job of avoiding obstacles. We had a couple of boxes on the floor as well as a stray toy or two, and it cleaned around them. It also made it into all of the rooms of our house.
