Tennessee-Alabama softball game No. 1 postgame social media buzz
No. 2 Tennessee (25-1, 7-0 SEC) defeated No. 13 Alabama (23-9, 1-3 SEC), 5-1, Friday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.
The Lady Vols have won 20 consecutive games and have not lost since Feb. 18.
Tennessee scored two runs in the third inning. Katie Taylor scored on a Lair Beautae sacrifice fly and Kiki Milloy scored on a Zaida Puni single.
Lair Beautae hit a home run in the fifth inning and McKenna Gibson scored the final run for the Lady Vols with a seventh inning home run.
Ashley Rogers (9-0) pitched all seven innings and only allowed one hit against the Crimson Tide.
