An Advanced Management Development Programme (AMDP) on “Innovation, Incubation and Intellectual Property Rights” sponsored under ESDP scheme of Union Ministry of MSME began here on Monday.
The programe organised by School of Enterprise Management, National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME), Hyderabad in association with CSIR-IMMT (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research), will end on March 18.
Director General, National Institute for MSME (NIMSME), Hyderabad, Dr Glory Swarupa joined as the chief guest on the inaugural day while Director, CSIR-IMMT Dr G Narahari Sastry gave the opening remarks and V Swapna, Associate Faculty (NIMSME) and Programme Director addressed the participants briefing about ni-msme activities.
The major objective of the residential intensive training programme is to train and nurture the participants on various aspects of innovation, incubation and IPR and to make them ready for the entry to entrepreneurial and allied sectors.
About 60 participants including entrepreneurs, startups and aspiring technologists from various R and D institutes and universities from different parts of the country such as Assam, Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Odisha are attending the event.
