Question: What's the cheapest way to travel from Nashville International Airport (BNA) to Lower Broadway?

Answer: If you don't mind a lengthy ride, public transportation is the most affordable option.

Planning a trip can be stressful and expensive. Scheduling flights, putting together an itinerary, booking a hotel — it can all be so overwhelming and visiting Nashville is no exception.

So you've booked your stay, decided the bar and restaurant you want to try first, but how're you getting there?

There are many options when it comes to getting around Music City. But if you want to save on that first ride once arriving, we've got you covered.

There are a plethora of taxi services in Nashville. All taxis must abide by the codes set forth by the Metro Transportation Licensing Commission, which states that a ride from the airport to Broadway is a flat rate of $30, plus $2 for each passenger.

Taking an Uber or a Lyft will save you some extra dollars. Prices vary but will normally be between $18 to $25.

And finally, the most affordable option is taking the bus.

WeGo Public Transit offers rides from the airport to Broadway for just $2. Taking the No. 18 route will take you to all the hustle and bustle that Lower Broadway has to offer, that is of course if you're not in a rush — the ride takes approximately one hour.

But why not take that extra time to relax? After all, you'll need it for a night out on Broadway.
