NORWALK, CT — Ten people were displaced by a fire that broke out at a Norwalk home Thursday morning, according to fire officials

In a news release, Deputy Chief Adam Markowitz said the structure fire was reported by a resident of the nearly three-story Spring Hill Avenue home just before 9 a.m.

When firefighters arrived, they noticed light smoke coming from the left side of the home. The smoke was traced to the basement, near an electrical panel and extending up the interior wall, Markowitz said.
