It is my absolute pleasure to introduce you to The Modesto Bee’s newest journalist: Dominique Williams.
Dominique joins McClatchy’s California Service Journalism Team as the Modesto-based reporter.
The goal of this new position is to create a direct line between our newsroom and our readers. This service-oriented desk — which includes reporters across the state — focuses on answering the most essential, frequently asked questions of the day and helping readers navigate life and news in their communities.
We don’t want to assume we know what you want and need. We want you to tell us. This feedback will help shape our decisions about what to write about.

Dominique Williams
Dominique Williams joins The Modesto Bee staff as she completes her senior year at Sacramento State, where she is the managing editor of The State Hornet. She has been The Sacramento Bee’s go-to weekend breaking news reporter since January 2022.
She grew up in Manteca and now lives in Ripon.
