Pandemic breakout star Donny Pangilinan is excited about two new projects: a teleseries with teammate Belle Mariano and a first- time movie with his mother, Maricel Laxa.

He says they’re quite far off from his previous projects.

Donny wants to grow furthermore as an actor, following in the footsteps of his mother, who’s an awarded actress of note. Maricel is also a book author and motivational speaker.

Earlier, during pandemic time, Donny and Belle (DonBelle) hit it off with audiences through their movies, Love Is Color Blind and An Inconvenient Love.

Their digital series, He’s Into Her, was an early hit.

An Inconvenient Love has the distinction of being the first ABS-CBN

Star Cinema movie to open in theaters in November 2022.

As for going the extra mile, Donny says he wants to play superhero roles, too, in full costume, at that.
