"CMII's First Cohort of MFA Virtual Production & VFX Program Celebrates Success with Stunning Virtual Cinematography Short Films"
The world of #filmmaking has always been a creative and dynamic space, but in recent years, #technology has transformed the industry into something truly revolutionary. #VirtualProduction and #VFX are rapidly becoming the new standard in #film and #media #production, and Georgia State University's Creative Media Industries Institute (#CMII) is leading the charge in preparing the next generation of #filmmakers for this exciting new era.
The first cohort of CMII's all-new MFA Virtual Production & VFX program has recently completed the Virtual Cinematography graduate course, and their achievements are nothing short of remarkable.
In just one semester, these students, under the tutelage of Professor Jeasy Sehgal (MTF), Professor of Practice in Virtual Production and VFX, and an Epic Games Unreal Engine Authorized Instructor, Reallusion Authorized Trainer, Blackmagic Design #DavinciReslove Certified Editor, and Avid Certified Editor, have produced 5 stunning short films individually using #UnrealEngine5, Reallusion #CharacterCreator, and #iClone.
The #VirtualCinematography course is an intensive program designed to teach students the skills they need to create high-quality virtual films using the latest technologies. In addition to mastering the technical aspects of #virtualproduction, the course also focuses on developing the creative skills required to tell compelling stories through this innovative medium.
The success of the first cohort of CMII's MFA Virtual Production & VFX program is a testament to the quality of education and training they received. The program has attracted some of the most talented and ambitious students in the industry, and it is clear that they have embraced the cutting-edge technologies and techniques taught by Professor Sehgal.
The five short films each produced by the first cohort of students are a stunning showcase of their #talent and #creativity. Each film is a unique and imaginative work of art that demonstrates the limitless possibilities of virtual production and VFX. From science fiction adventures to heartwarming dramas, these films showcase the power of this exciting new medium to tell compelling and engaging stories.
As the film and media industry continues to evolve, it is clear that virtual production and VFX will play an increasingly important role. CMII's MFA Virtual Production & VFX program is at the forefront of this exciting new frontier, and the success of the first cohort of students is a testament to the quality of education and training that the program provides.
We congratulate the first cohort of the MFA Virtual Production & VFX program, Morgan Hager and Robert Majoch at CMII for their remarkable achievements and look forward to seeing the incredible works they will produce in the future as the next generation of filmmakers for the exciting new era of virtual production and VFX.
