DURANT, Okla. (KTEN) — There is a shortage of welders in Texoma.

And with the number of manufacturing businesses in our region, many companies have openings. 

The Oklahoma Works American Job Center hosted a job fair for Big Tex Trailer Manufacturing in Madill to help find workers to build trailers. 

"The need is just is always ongoing — like there is always a shortage of welders — but you always need welders and manufacturers to meet the needs of our customers," said Big Tex spokesperson Megan Kelly.
