Florida offensive lineman Richard Gouraige signed as a free agent with the Buffalo Bills shortly after the end of the draft, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2 in Houston.

Gouraige will join Florida teammates O'Cyrus Torrence and Justin Shorter, who were taken in the second and fifth round of the NFL Draft by the Bills over the weekend.

A projected fifth-to-seventh round pick, Gouraige slipped out of the draft, but could still earn a roster spot with the Bills. Buffalo made addressing a depleted offensive line a priority in the draft by taking Torrence, Florida's first consensus All-American offensive lineman since Maurkice Pouncey in 2009.

A former Under Armour All-American out of Cambridge Christian School in Tampa, Gouraige was durable, dependable and played with sound technique in his Florida career.

The 6-foot-5, 308-pound Gouraige made 42 career starts in five seasons at Florida, including five at left guard. In 2022, Gouraige made all 13 starts at left tackle for the Gators, surrendering just one sack and 14 pressures while posting a career-best run blocking grade (65.9).

Trey Dean to Jets

Florida safety Trey Dean signed an undrafted free agent contract with the New York Jets on Saturday night.

A five-star recruit out of high school, the 6-foot-3, 207-pound Dean brought size and positional versatility to Florida's secondary. He began his career as a cornerback before moving to the star position and eventually settling in at safety. Dean finished his Florida career with four interceptions but had none last season.

Physicality is Dean's strong suit, as he posted 259 tackles in five seasons, with 13.5 tackles for loss and 5 sacks.

Rashad Torrence II to Rams

Florida safety Rashad Torrence II signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Los Angeles Rams on Saturday night.

Torrence led Florida last year with 84 tackles, including 50 solo stops. At 6-foot-0, 202 pounds, Torrence is a physical safety capable of providing support on run defense.

In 2021, Torrence started all 13 games at safety and recorded three interceptions, two pass breakups and one fumble recovery.

Brenton Cox Jr to Packers

Florida edge rusher Brenton Cox Jr. signed as an undrafted free agent with the Green Bay Packers on Monday

A five star recruit out of high school, Cox finished with 14.5 career sacks in three seasons at Florida after transferring from rival Georgia. His best season came in 2021, when he recorded 8.5 sacks and 14.5 tackles for loss. At 6-foot-3 and 251 pounds, Cox has ideal size for an edge rusher at the pro level.

But Cox's career at Florida ended eight games into the 2022 season. He was kicked off the team following Florida's 42-20 loss to rival Georgia for what head coach Billy Napier termed "an accumulation of issues." Cox finished his finals season at UF with just two sacks.
