Woman drugs man to steal over $600K worth of jewelry from him

MIAMI, FLORIDA — A woman reportedly drugged a man and stole over $600,000 worth of jewelry earlier this month.

The man met the woman at a local restaurant and club during the night, then brought her home to his residence in the 800 block of N.E. 1 Street in Miami, Florida. He arrived with the woman at around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 7.

While entertaining the woman, the man had one drink and suddenly fell asleep. He woke up at approximately 12 p.m. the next day and found his safe open with the female gone and his jewelry missing. He contacted police for assistance right after, a spokesperson for the Miami Police Department said.

Miami Police responded to the scene at around 1:10 p.m. to learn more about the alleged crime.

Surveillance footage showed the female suspect arriving with the victim, then leaving.

A survey of the missing items amounted to over $600,000 worth of jewelry missing from the apartment. This included a Rolex Daytona Rainbow with diamonds, a Sky-Dweller Rolex, a gold chain, Franco gold bracelets, Cartier sunglasses, and a rose gold diamond ring.

The female suspect was described as a white woman who stood between 5′08″ and 5′10″. She was expected to be in her 30s and about 140 pounds. She also had long black hair.

The Miami Police Department led the investigation into the incident.
