Squirrel's Pitiful Reaction to Meeting Her New Babysitter Is Just Like a Human Kid
Any parent will tell you just how difficult it is to leave your babies to babysitters. They'll start crying or throwing a fit because they don't want to be left behind. And yes, that goes for both kids and pets. LOL!
We never thought in a million years that a pet squirrel would be having a reaction to their human leaving them with a new babysitter, but then again we see a lot of new things on the daily thanks to TikTok. This squirrel, known on TikTok as @little_thumbelina_girl, was so upset she was getting a new babysitter. The reaction reminds us of a human kid. Take a look!

LMAO! This squirrel wasn't having it at all and we get it. Meeting strangers is hard enough. So imagine what this squirrel feels like when she gets a new babysitter AND her mom is leaving her. Any kid would react the same way!
"OMG! I didn't know you were accepting applications for squirrel babysitters! Where do I send mine? I'm sure the list is long! I have experience!" said @riemannpace. LOL! We want to send our applications too! We'll gladly give up our full-time job just so we can snuggle with sweet, sweet Thumbelina all day long. Who wouldn't?!
If you're thinking about owning a squirrel as a pet, be sure that your state allows it as owning these wild animals is only legal in some states. Other states require permits and then there are states that it is completely illegal. And if you're lucky enough to own a pet squirrel, make sure you do your research so you give them proper care.
