The victims of the tragic Washington DC boom plane crash have been pictured including a nanny and a two-year-old girl.
Evadnie Smith has been named as the fourth victim of the private plane crash that killed Adina Azarian, 49, and her two-year-old daughter Aria alongside the duo and pilot Jeff Hefner.
Ms Smith, a live-in nanny for estate agent Adina, originally came from Jamaica and worked at their home in East Hampton, New York.
She was praised by friends who said she was a "remarkable woman with a beautiful soul" and had a unique bond with Adina and her daughter.
“She went through everything as a single woman to have a baby, and I can’t say since Aria’s been born, I don’t think I’ve seen her twice without her,” former classmate Tara Brivic-Looper, 47, told The Post.
“It was just the two of them every single day. That was what she always wanted.”
“I never met a sweeter person than Adina.
"This is the second daughter I have lost, and she was the most wonderful human being I have ever met,” John Rumpel said, adding that they adopted Adina because she reminded them of a daughter they lost in a scuba diving accident in 1994.
Adina was the adopted daughter of John and his wife Barbara, who owned the Cessna plane that fatally crashed on Sunday afternoon.
The private jet was registered to Encore Motors of Melbourne Inc. John Rumpel, who runs the company with wife Barbara.
He told the New York Times that his daughter, two-year-old granddaughter, her nanny and the pilot were aboard the plane.
It is not clear what caused the crash, but Adina's dad John Rumpel said it could have been a depressurisation of the cabin, meaning all onboard lost consciousness.
"They all just would have gone to sleep and never woke up," Mr Rumpel said, explaining the family was returning home from a visit to his own estate in North Carolina.
They were returning to their home in East Hampton.
Mr Rumpel - he and his wife are major donors to the likes of Ron DeSantis and former President Donald Trump - added the horror crash took place after a descent of 20,000 feet a minute.
The couple donated $250,000 to the Trump campaign in 2020 and Mrs Rumpel is on the NRA board of directors for 2023.
She also served on Donald Trump's 2nd Amendment Coalition.
They were returning to their home in East Hampton, on Long Island, after visiting his house in North Carolina, he said.
Mr Rumpel, a prominent MAGA donor, said: “It descended at 20,000 feet a minute, and nobody could survive a crash from that speed.”
In response to the Cessna Citation jet crashing, the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) said it authorised a F-16 jet to "travel at supersonic speeds and a sonic boom may have been heard by residents of the region".
In a statement, NORAD said: "The pilot was unresponsive and the Cessna subsequently crashed near the George Washington National Forest, Virginia.
"NORAD attempted to establish contact with the pilot until the aircraft crashed."
