Named after our 16th president, Lincoln is the second most populated town in Nebraska and home to the University of Nebraska. Other colleges and universities based in Lincoln include Bryan LGH College of Health Sciences, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Southeast Community College and Union College. The state government and the University of Nebraska are both large contributors to the local economy along with other prominent industries including health care, banking and technology.
