3M’s carbon dioxide removal partnership with Canada’s Svante Technologies, the sale of Celeros Flow Technology’s Filtration business and filtering microplastics from washing machine wastewater were the most read stories on the Filtration+Separation website during May.

 

1. 3M and Svante to jointly develop and produce carbon dioxide removal products

3M is partnering with Canada’s Svante Technologies Inc to develop material that can trap carbon dioxide (CO2) found in the atmosphere and permanently remove it.

 

2. Celeros Flow Technology to sell its Filtration business to private equity firm

Celeros Flow Technology has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its Filtration business unit to the UK-headquartered private equity firm Px3 Partners.

 

3. Cleanr partners with GKD on microplastics filtering of washing machine wastewater

Cleanr, a US developer of microplastics filtering technologies, has teamed up German mesh manufacturer GKD Group to help washing machine manufacturers meet new and emerging regulations aimed at eliminating plastic microfiber pollution.
