A man and woman were shot and killed at an Orange County apartment complex on Wednesday.According to the sheriff, deputies were called to Residence at West Place Apartments in the 700 block of Sherwood Terrace Drive around 10 a.m. Deputies heard shots being fired as they arrived at the scene. Officials said they found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound and a man suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. They said an innocent bystander inside the apartment building was grazed by a bullet, too. The man and woman were rushed to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The bystander was treated at the scene.WESH 2 spoke with a witness about the shooting. "This morning I was sitting here, I was enjoying coffee in the corner," witness Essence Gordon said.That's when Gordon heard an argument nearby.“I heard a female requesting someone to stop following her, to leave her alone and go back in the house and the arguing continued about five minutes or so. Shortly thereafter, I heard a gunshot, immediately I called (911)," Gordon said. She called 911 to make sure everyone, her family and the community were safe."About a minute later, I heard about three or four gunshots following. It was prettydevastating,” Gordon said.When Gordon found out what happened, she was devastated as she remembered hearingwhat she believed were the woman's last words."'Go and go back in the house,' you know, 'get away from me, get away, go away.' Seems like she was trying to get away from whoever the person was, but they were just adamant on being in her space. (It's) definitely something that was just heartfelt for me."Deputies are not looking for any outstanding suspects.
