NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – One person was killed Tuesday night after being shot and later hit by a motorcycle in South Nashville.

Police said at around 9:15 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Murfreesboro Pike and East Thompson Lane and found the victim, identified as 49-year-old Larry Giden of Nashville, dead in the roadway.

According to police, it appears Giden got into an argument with someone on the south side of Murfreesboro Pike. As Giden started running across the street, the person he got into an argument with allegedly shot him. Giden was then reportedly hit by a three-wheel motorcycle and died at the scene, while the driver of the motorcycle was treated for minor injuries.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a $5,000 reward for homicide and cold cases.
