About Seattle Children's Hospital
Seattle Children’s is a center for pediatric and adolescent referrals for Washington, Alaska, Montana and Idaho. Founded in 1907, it is also the primary teaching, clinical and research site for the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine. In 2014 Seattle Children’s employed 5,900 and generated $1.87 billion in gross revenue while handling more than 368,000 patient visits.
