Stephenson National Bank to mark 145 years

MARINETTE, Wis. — The Stephenson National Bank & Trust on Tuesday, Oct. 22, will celebrate its 145th anniversary with an open house at its office in Menominee and downtown Crivitz, Marinette, Oconto, Pembine and Wausaukee in Wisconsin.

Refreshments will be served during bank hours.

SNBT may no longer hand-write ledgers or use bank notes as currency, but the long-lasting bank continues to be involved in its local community.

“Each employee, from 1874 to present day, has become a part of the SNBT family and is the key to its success,” said Daniel Peterson, SNBT president and CEO. “As SNBT grows, its roots stay strong and we always remember how this legacy began, with a man named Isaac Stephenson.”

Peterson added, “We reflect now on SNBT’s past and we see that the success of the bank has always stemmed from our community. We are privileged to be part of a community that stands behind one another through the good and the bad. Our most important mission is to help our customers and the community in achieving their goals–no matter what they may be. And so, this celebration is not about the 145th anniversary of SNBT, but it is a moment we take to acknowledge and show appreciation to all of our loyal customers, for their continuing support.”

The Stephenson National Bank & Trust is an independent bank with more than $1 billion in bank, mortgage, trust and investment assets under management. Offices are in Marinette, Wausaukee, Crivitz, Pembine and Oconto, Wis., and Menominee in Michigan, with a trust and investment office in Marquette and a commercial loan services office in Green Bay, Wis.
