This will be the second stop by the USMTS at the Cotton Bowl Speedway. The inaugural event in 2017 produced a wild finish that saw Chris Brown muscle his way past Dereck Ramirez with eight laps to go to take the win.

At the upcoming Sunday, March 1, event the pits will open at 3 p.m. and grandstands open at 5 with hot laps at 6:40 and full-throttle racing at 7 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults 17 and older with juniors (12-16) and seniors (62+) just $15. Kids ages 6-11 are $5 and children under 6 get in for free. Pit passes are $35.

In addition to the fire-breathing USMTS Modifieds, Sunoco USRA Factory Stocks and USRA Limited Mods will also be on the racing card.

The 2020 schedule for the Summit USMTS National Championship fueled by Casey’s is highlighted by 58 nights of racing at 33 unique dirt ovals as part of the 22nd season for the world’s Best of the Best in dirt modified racing. The campaign will blast off at the I-37 Speedway in Pleasanton, Texas, on Friday, February 28, as part of a Lone Star State swing featuring six races over the course of nine days.

The tireless USMTS touring titans will roll two more hours south and return to the South Texas Speedway in Corpus Christi on Saturday, February 29, before wrapping up the year’s first tripleheader on Sunday at the Cotton Bowl Speedway.

From there, fans and racers trek north to the Dallas-Fort Worth region to the Big O Speedway in Ennis, Texas, for a three-day stop paying $2,000, $3,000 and $4,000 to win, respectively, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 5-7, at the Texas Spring Nationals.

The season stays in motion on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 26-28, at the Humboldt Speedway in Humboldt, Kan., for King of America X powered by Summit and the first of five crown jewels on the calendar.
