Coronavirus cases in Minnesota long-term care facilities: Here’s where they are

Congregate care facilities like nursing homes and assisted living have been the hardest hit by Minnesota’s coronavirus outbreak.

The majority of deaths in Minnesota caused by COVID-19 have been in older Minnesotans, people with underlying health conditions and those who live in congregate care centers.

The Minnesota Department of Health is releasing the names of facilities that have COVID-19 outbreaks if they have 10 or more residents.

A facility is considered to have an outbreak if one resident, staffer or contractor tests positive for the virus. Facilities are removed from the state list if they have had no exposure for 28 days.
