Outdoor Patio Underway At 22 West Tap & Grill

With construction underway the expanded parking lot and outdoor patio is on track to open this fall.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Just in time for the crisp fall weather, 22 West Tap & Grill in Bridgewater has announced an opening date for its outdoor dining area and an expanded parking lot.

It took about two years for Martinsville native Kevin Trimarchi's vision to come to light. He opened the restaurant in December 2016 with great success. Then as over-flowing amount of customers began coming to restaurant Trimarchi then decided to expand.

He purchased the neighboring just over half-acre lot on Thompson Avenue in October 2017. The property will open as a parking lot with 40 extra spots this coming September.

Additionally in May 2018, Trimarchi got approval from Bridgewater Planning Board for his outdoor dining area. Construction is currently underway on the outside portion and is expected be completed sometime in October.

He will then be blowing out the wall that is to the right off the main entrance, which will be replaced with garage doors. This will allow Trimarchi to open the doors on nice days to bring airflow inside and also expand the dining floor plan into where the new covered porch will be.

"It will have an open air concept," Trimarchi said.
