Dori passed away in her home in Broomfield, Colorado on February 29, 2024. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Ronald Honegger; her children Lisa (Honegger) Cross of St. Louis; Ronni (Honegger) Smith of Indianapolis; Heather (Honegger) Lee of Boulder, and Jason Honegger of St. Louis. She had nine grandchildren: Hannah Smith, Harrison Smith, Bradon Cross, Noah Cross, Jennifer Smith, Lauren Cross, Ragan Lee, Bridget Cross, Margot Lee, and one great-grandson, David James Smith. She is also survived by a sister, MaryJane Antcliff, and two brothers, Tom Welsh and Mike Welsh.
Dori was preceded in death by parents John Edward Welsh and Ruth O’Brien Welsh, and 10 siblings, Helen Vicari, Jack Welsh, Maurice Welsh, Lois Reed, Patricia Luck, Richard Welsh, Charles Welsh, Francis “Dewey” Welsh, Ardis East, and Marylin “Peggy” Bell.
Ron and Dori lived in Francesville, Indiana, from 1959 until 1994, when they moved to Monticello, Indiana. There, they enjoyed boating, entertaining, and living on Lake Shafer. In 2010, they moved to Broomfield, Colorado. Dori thoroughly enjoyed her family, children, grandchildren, and many long-time close friends throughout her life. She lived a beautiful life and will be dearly missed by all.
