One Pronounced Dead after Two-Vehicle Collision near 50th Street West

ROSAMOND, CA (December 18, 2023) –  One victim died Thursday afternoon in a two-car crash on West Rosamond Boulevard and 50th Street West.

Emergency personnel arrived at the location at approximately 2:04 p.m., near 50th Street West.
 
As reported by the California Highway Patrol, a collision occurred between a silver Nissan Maxima and a black Toyota Tundra in that vicinity. However, additional details surrounding the events leading to the incident are currently unknown.
 
Upon reaching the scene, first responders pronounced one occupant deceased, but law enforcement has not disclosed the individual’s identity. Authorities from Rosamond have recommended that drivers steer clear of the area while crews work on clearing the scene. Additional information will be provided as soon as it becomes available.
