AUSTIN (KXAN) — Nicholas Cage, Jake Gyllenhaal and Selena Gomez were just a few of the celebrities who descended upon Austin for South by Southwest 2024.
Many were out celebrating their current film or television projects or speaking on a panel.
Meghan Markle, The Duchess of Sussex, helped kickstart this year’s festival by taking part in a discussion alongside Katie Couric, Errin Haines, Brooke Shields, and Nancy Wang Yuen. Prince Harry also attended the keynote and was in the audience.
Nicholas Cage attended the premiere of his new movie “Arcadian” at the Paramount Theatre on Monday, and Jake Gyllenhaal also celebrated his new movie “Road House” on the first day of the festival.
