SELMA – The Johnston County Sheriff’s Office has solved two auto theft investigations following the arrest of a Selma man.
Austin Timothy Britt, age 25, of Davis Homestead Road, was arrested March 25 on three felony charges.
On March 21, sheriff’s investigators executed a search warrant at Britt’s residence. During a search of the property, a stolen Ford Focus was recovered.
The vehicle owner reported the car stolen January 12, 2024 after it broke down the night before on Brown-Wall Road.
Britt is also accused of stealing a Ford F-150 from Holloman Lane near Selma in November 2023.
Britt was held on a $60,000 secured bond.
As a parent, KNOW THE WHOLE STORY before you post it! He was told by a business to pick up these cars, he WAS NOT TOLD THEY WERE STOLEN!
What does “as a parent mean”? Parents should know the whole story? That makes no sense.
Stop blaming other people (“he was told by a business”???) and start taking responsibility for your own actions!
