You might have stayed in an Embassy Suites, but probably not like the hotel's new resort in Gatlinburg, now open.

The Embassy Suites by Hilton Gatlinburg Resort, located at 604 Historic Nature Trail (formerly 604 Airport Road) is surrounded by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park on three sides and is filled with amenities you'd find at both an Embassy Suites and a resort.

All 164 rooms are suites, and the resort has an indoor pool and an outdoor pool with a slide and a lazy river. It also has 20,000 square feet of outdoor space for games and activities.

The outdoor pool opens April 15.

"In Gatlinburg, nobody really has this kind of outdoor space that we have here," Hospitality Solutions President and CEO Logan Coykendall told Knox News.

Firefly Cove will provide small plates, and The Roaring Fork will have fine-dining dishes like seafood manicotti, dijon crusted salmon, ratatouille, steaks and more.
