Man arrested after woman assaulted in St Austell

A man has been arrested after a woman was assaulted in St Austell.
Devon and Cornwall Police said they were called to Poltair Court at about 12:20 GMT following a report a man assaulted a woman.
It was also reported the man may have been carrying a "bladed weapon", the force said.
Officers said they arrested 29-year-old man from St Austell, who remains in police custody, and were not looking for anyone else.
Matt Trevivian, Sector Inspector for St Austell, said: "There is no wider threat to the public and this is being treated as an isolated incident."
