Mt. Charleston Lodge fire: ‘Heartbreaking’ loss for all of Las Vegas

The new lodge is expected to match the previous lodge’s layout as much as possible.

The dining area will be able to accommodate over 700 people. The nearly 6200 square feet of outdoor space makes way for outdoor dining plans as well.

The lodge is being designed with the help of the architect who also helped design Resorts World Las Vegas and Circa.

The fire took place in September of 2021 and the lodge, at the top of Kyle Canyon Road — SR157 — was a popular place for Las Vegas valley residents and hikers coming off the mountain. The restaurant and surrounding cabins were also busy all year round.
