Emily Ratajkowski's Swimwear Line Is in Hot Water

Supermodel Emily Ratajkowski is coming under fire from customers who claim they still haven't received their Black Friday orders from her swimwear brand.

Her brand, Inamorata, sells an array of bikinis, one-pieces, beach coverups and dresses and was started by Ratajkowski and a friend in 2017.

Customers have taken to the brand's most recent Instagram post—which announced a 50 percent off sale on certain pieces for Black Friday in November—to vent their frustration about their orders not being fulfilled.

Newsweek emailed the brand as well as a spokesperson for Ratajkowski for comment on Wednesday.

"It's the 17th so did you feel the whooshing sound as the March 6th-15th deadline went by? Sadly this was the THIRD deadline that you provided. At this point you owe me interest on my funds you have held," one disgruntled customer wrote.

"UPDATE- it has been 4 months and customer service assured with a formal email it would be delivered March 5th at the latest. Still nothing and no shipping information. HORRIFIC brand... just give me my money back at this point," said another.

Another infuriated person commented: "Your team promised to have my items shipped out by March 15th. Still nothing. PLEASE it's been 5 months."

"Ordered a bikini in NOVEMBER that still has not arrived. I have emailed multiple times and all I have gotten is automated responses about the further delays. So upsetting," someone else wrote.

A different person added: "Do y'all not have the suits?! What's going on?! WE NEED ANSWERS."

On Tuesday, the account posted an update to its Instagram story to address people's grievances.

"Due to the overwhelming volume of orders off the Black Friday sale, we do have a small delay on a small percentage of our orders," it said. "We are offering a full refund to anyone who does not want to wait, with our sincere apologies to our valued customers."

On the same day, the Inamorata account also started replying to comments saying that if customers were still waiting on an order, they had been sent an email with options.

"We've just sent out an email update. We're happy to refund your order if you'd like - please contact us via email. We apologize for the delays," one of the brand's comments reads.

This isn't the first time that Ratajkowski has been involved in an online furore. In November her front page cover shoot with M Magazine, a supplement in the French newspaper Le Monde, angered fans, being described as "fatphobic."

Ratajkowski shared several images across two posts on November 25 on Instagram. Accompanying five pictures and a video, she said: "@m_magazine by @oliverhadleepearch @charlottecolletcollet thank you @jbtalbourdet."

The second image in her post showed the model standing in a pair of jeans several sizes bigger than she would wear; although appearing to have a foot in each shoe in the image, she only fills one leg of the pair of jeans.

"Designers won't make plus sizes unless it's for a photo opp where a thin person can be quirky," one person commented.

Another added: "What in the fatphobic hell is that second picture?"
