Doorbell Camera Captures Wild Interaction With Amazon Driver: 'Show Time'

Last December, over 416 million web users visited Amazon's online store alone. In 2023, Amazon's market share of the retail e-commerce landscape stood at 37.6 percent, miles ahead of eBay, Apple and Costco.

With numbers like that—and rising—it's safe to say that Amazon is a big business, and that many people have all kinds of products delivered to their front door using the company. It's also fair to say that most of Amazon's customers probably don't expect to find a bizarre message in their security camera from their delivery driver.

It's an experience that Erin Noyes (@whisperfillies) had shared to her TikTok account earlier this week. The surprising moment that had been caught on the small business owner's porch in Northampton, Massachusetts, has so far been viewed more than 20 million times.

"Hi, I currently don't care because I'm Amazon," the delivery driver shouted into Noyes' front door security camera after it had announced that it is "currently recording" him.

"FedEx don't look like this," the man continued. "FedEx ain't built like this," he added before walking back to his car.

He had jokingly flexed his muscles after placing Noyes' parcels on her doorstop.

The video's caption reads: "When I was simply expecting some supplies for my art business, and instead I was delivered so much more."

Newsweek approached Amazon for comment via email, and reached out to Noyes for more information via Facebook and TikTok.

TikTok Users React

Since it had been shared to TikTok, Noyes' post has been liked by more than 4 million users and commented on over 18,000 times.

TikTokers have joined in with Noyes by laughing along at the unexpected moment. Many have hailed the Amazon driver for his unique arrival.

"'you are currently being recorded..'.. home boy said...BET...SHOW TIME," one TikTok user wrote.

"Talk about Amazon FLEX," Lidl, the German supermarket chain, commented.

"This needs to be an Amazon commercial," a TikTok user wrote while another added: "Amazon, give this man a raise."

"THIS NEEDS TO BE PAID ADVERTISING, GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE," one TikTok user shared.

Another user commented: "Amazon's CEO should make him an elite employee."

"He started his shift after the gym and that workout hype is still flowing," one user joked.
