Vietnam, with its fascinating history and diverse landscapes, has evolved into a dynamic nation in Southeast Asia. Shaped by a long and storied past, Vietnam’s ancient roots can be traced back to the Dong Son culture and the enduring influences of Chinese civilisation.

The country’s more recent history was marked by French colonisation in the 19th century, eventually leading to the struggle for independence and the Vietnam War in the 20th century. The resilient spirit of the Vietnamese people played a pivotal role in shaping their identity as they navigated through turbulent times.

Geographically, Vietnam’s terrain is filled with natural wonders, from the towering peaks of the northern highlands to the lush Mekong Delta in the south. Amidst bustling cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam retains a rich tapestry of traditions, colourful markets, and a culinary scene celebrated globally for its unique flavours.
